SmokymonkeyS is a team consisting of two Japanese guys, one a programmer and the other a graphic designer, formed for the purpose of creating games. We are not professional game creators. We don't belong to any business company and have nothing to back us up. This game is created by only using tools available to everyone.
This game is created based on the concept of creating "a game we want to play". As a result, the game's scale has gotten a little too large for a two-man team, and it is taking us a long time to create. Maybe too long. But this is exactly the "game we want to play". It is not a mini game that finishes in a few hours or a movie-like game created using brand-new technologies.
This game is unrestrained and doesn't force you to do things. Instead, it is created so that player can move around freely, discover something or find a certain pattern through one's adventure, and enjoy the game more by trial and error. All errors you may make in the process can be recovered, and you can try it as many times as you like. Our final goal is to develop this game so that each player is able to create their own unique game world inside them based on their experience in the game, not limited to just the information provided by the game.
Of course, we are still halfway to this goal. But through continuous development, we hope to get closer to our goal as much as possible.
